Role Description

The Property Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Glasgow, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties. This includes:

  • Coordinating and monitoring repairs and maintenance
  • Ensuring communal areas are well maintained
  • Liaising regularly with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Handling tenant and owner queries
  • Conducting property inspections
  • Preparing reports
  • Supporting compliance with relevant regulations and company standards

The Property Manager will also assist with budgeting for property expenses, tracking service charges, and contributing to strategies that protect and improve property value.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property or facilities management, with the ability to oversee maintenance, repairs, and communal services.
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills, including the ability to manage expectations and resolve issues professionally.
  • Organizational and administrative abilities, such as managing records, preparing reports, and coordinating multiple properties or projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant property regulations, health and safety standards, and best practices in building management.
  • Comfort working on-site in Glasgow, with the ability to conduct inspections and meet clients and contractors in person.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and property management systems or willingness to learn new tools quickly.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to improving building condition and value.
  • Relevant educational background or professional qualifications in property management, real estate, or a related field are an advantage.
