Property Officer required for a housing provider in Birmingham.
About the Role
- To ensure commercial property data is relevant, current and complete to support effective analysis and decision making
- To support the effective management and control of physical land, building and legal deed documentation, leases, land registries regarding commercial property portfolio.
- To support the effective control of budget monitoring, rent payment, debt recovery, lease renewals, dilapidations and property disposals.
- To monitor the delivery of services against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Leases and Licences.

Candidate Profile
The Property Officer will bring the following key skills and/or experience to the role:
- An understanding of Leases, Land Registry, Building Safety.
- Extracting, validating and summarising complex property data.
- A background in housing or private property sector environment
- High level of competency across the Microsoft Office Suite
- Communication, facilitation and stakeholder management
- The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
- Rent collection processes

Desirable Skills and/or Experience
- Property Inspection
- Arrears Management
- Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (Kardex)
- An understanding of portfolio investment including leases, land titles and covenants
