Job Title: Sales Negotiator
Location: Newton Mearns, Glasgow
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious property professional to join our successful Newton Mearns sales team and play a key role in our continued growth.
As a Sales Negotiator, you'll take ownership of the sales journey from instruction through to completion, providing an exceptional experience for both buyers and sellers along the way. You'll be responsible for marketing properties, negotiating offers and guiding clients through every stage of the process to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll build strong relationships with clients, applicants and professional contacts, becoming a trusted adviser within the local property market. You'll stay informed about market trends and developments, using your knowledge and networking skills to identify and generate new business opportunities.
You'll also utilise our market-leading systems and reporting tools to manage customer information effectively, track performance and maximise results. Social media will play an important part in your role, providing an opportunity to showcase properties, engage with prospective buyers and raise your profile within the local market through creative and engaging content.

Key responsibilities
- Conducting client introduction meetings
- Ensuring all property marketing materials are accurate, compelling and aligned with Rettie brand standards
- Developing and executing effective property launch strategies, including property matching, online marketing and database campaigns
- Conducting property viewings and providing timely, constructive feedback to applicants and vendors
- Managing offers and negotiations, including advising clients, setting closing dates and progressing transactions through to conclusion.
- Proactively identifying and developing new business opportunities through networking, relationship-building and targeted outreach activities.
- Generating market appraisal opportunities and high-quality financial services referrals
- Maintaining accurate customer records and sales activity within internal systems and databases
- Creating engaging content for the branch's social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok, to showcase properties, increase brand awareness and strengthen our presence within the local market

Key requirements
- Driving licence and access to own car
- Previous property sales experience
- Proficient in the use of IT systems, including MS Teams, Word, Excel & Outlook
