Join Orwins as an Experienced Property Secretary

Become part of a busy, high-performing property team in Finchley.

We do law differently - less formal, more focused, and built around delivering an outstanding client experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a key role in supporting a top-tier legal team.

Working across residential conveyancing, commercial property and secured lending, you will support a talented group of fee earners with the day-to-day coordination that keeps matters progressing smoothly. From client communication and document preparation to post-completion work and Land Registry submissions, you will be central to ensuring every transaction is handled efficiently, accurately and professionally.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide full secretarial and administrative support to a busy property team working across residential conveyancing, commercial property and property finance matters.
  • Prepare, format and amend legal documents, contracts, completion statements and correspondence with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Manage Land Registry applications, SDLT submissions and post-completion formalities using systems such as Infotrack, ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Open, organise and maintain client files, keeping records, documents and case management systems fully up to date throughout each transaction.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, solicitors, lenders, estate agents and other third parties, helping to keep transactions moving and queries resolved promptly.
  • Order searches, manage incoming documentation, monitor progress on live matters and proactively support fee earners with the smooth running of their caseloads.
  • Help create a professional, efficient and reassuring experience for clients by ensuring communication is clear, timely and well organised from instruction to completion.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
