Property Services Officer

Location: Glasgow area

Employer: Southside Housing Association

Salary: £42,707 - £46,895 per annum (typical hours: 35 hours per week)

About Southside Housing Association

Southside Housing Association is a charitable, community-controlled housing association with a focus on providing high-quality service and supporting others. We manage approximately:

  • 2,250 houses for social rent
  • A factoring service for around 1,000 owners
  • 250+ properties through our subsidiary, Southside Lettings (for mid-market rentals)
  • An active development programme to build new homes

Our team values innovation, flexibility, and positive communication in a fast-moving, dynamic environment. If you thrive in such a setting—with a varied workload and enjoy technical knowledge, problem-solving, and strong organisational skills—this could be the right role for you.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Property Services Officer to deliver both reactive maintenance services (void and client-focused repairs) and planned maintenance activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Competent diagnosis of repairs under inspection.
  • Contractor liaison to coordinate maintenance and improvements.
  • Excellent communication and organisation to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participation in inspection and contract management, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in using IT packages for administrative and maintenance tasks.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
