Residential Valuer – Sales & Lettings

Location: South East London

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 7:00pm

About the Company

Our client is a highly regarded and established independent residential estate agency with a strong reputation across London. Known for their exceptional customer service, extensive local market expertise, and commitment to delivering outstanding results, they continue to go from strength to strength within both the sales and lettings sectors.

Due to continued success and growth, they are seeking an experienced Residential Valuer to join their South East London office and play a key role in expanding both their sales and lettings business.

The Role

As a Residential Valuer, you will be responsible for conducting market appraisals across both residential sales and lettings, providing clients with expert advice and converting valuations into instructions. This is a client-facing position that requires excellent communication skills, strong local market knowledge, and a proactive approach to generating and winning new business. You will work closely with the wider sales and lettings teams to maximise opportunities and contribute to the continued success of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out residential sales and lettings valuations.
  • Win new sales and lettings instructions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and landlords.
  • Provide accurate market appraisals and pricing advice.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with local market trends and competitor activity.
  • Work closely with the sales and lettings teams to maximise opportunities.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience from valuation through to instruction.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Residential Valuer or Senior Negotiator with valuation experience.
  • Strong knowledge of the local residential property market.
  • Experience within both residential sales and lettings is highly desirable.
  • A proven track record of winning instructions and generating new business.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • A confident, professional, and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
