Proposals Manager

Are you a creative communicator with a passion for winning work and a talent for bringing ideas to life through powerful proposals?

We’re looking for a driven and detail-focused Proposals Manager to lead the development of compelling submissions that help secure exciting projects within the interior fit-out sector across various industries.


About the Role

In this varied and high-impact role, you’ll work at the centre of our win team, collaborating closely with project managers, project teams, cost planners, and senior leadership to create persuasive, high-quality proposals that stand out in a competitive market.

You’ll work flexibly from home or from our office opposite the Old Bailey, near London.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of high-quality bids for securing exciting interior fit-out projects
  • Collaborate with bid managers, subject matter experts, and senior stakeholders to shape client-focused submissions
  • Develop and facilitate win themes, ensuring they are consistently applied throughout proposals
  • Organise bid planning sessions, win theme workshops, and manage the tender review process
  • Craft persuasive, engaging content, translating technical expertise into client-focused presentations
  • Support the development of clear, effective client presentations
  • Ensure compliance with bid processes, providing continuous improvements for smoother and stronger submissions
  • Work with Adobe InDesign for proposal drafting and formatting

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Proposals Manager, Bid Writer, Bid Editor, Bid Coordinator, or a similar role
  • Strong background in tender writing and bid submission
  • Experience leading the creation of written responses to meet client needs and secure wins
  • Exceptional resource planning, timeline management, and deadline coordination skills
  • Full proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Essential knowledge and hands-on Adobe InDesign experience for formatting proposals

Essential Criteria:

✅ Experience developing compelling win themes ✅ Ability to facilitate bid planning/answer sessions and win theme workshops ✅ Strong background in bid writing and editing ✅ Excellent resource planning and coordination ✅ Proficiency in Adobe InDesign ✅ Competency in Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable Criteria:

🌟 Relevant degree or equivalent qualification 🌟 APMP (Association of Project Management Professionals) membership or certification
