## About The Role
The Proposals Manager will be a key asset to our business development team, responsible for developing and managing strategic proposal responses to client requests for proposals (RFPs). Each proposal is accountability owned by a designated team member, who ensures alignment between client needs, company capabilities, and commercial goals. Responsibilities include:
- Coordination: Oversee the full RFP lifecycle, from intake to submission, coordinating updates, requaints, and scope adjustments.
- Strategic Development: Collaboratively engage internal teams (e.g., subject matter experts, sales, medical affairs) to craft tailored content and ensure compliance with both corporate policies and client guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain and update templates, databases, and proposal standards, with responsibility for final edits to ensure clarity, accuracy, and persuasive messaging.

## Responsibilities
- Develop Proposals: Create comprehensive, data-driven proposals, aligning with client needs and positioning Emerald Clinical’s core capabilities persuasively.
- RFP Ownership: Support all stages of the RFP process, from introduction to negotiation, ensuring meet deadlines and Meeting client expectations.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work across disciplines—e.g. sales, project management, clinical operations—to gather critical insights and produce accurate, compelling content.
- Compliance and Process Integrity: Ensure adherence to submission protocols while maintaining internal guidelines.
- Document Management: Curate and update proposal templates, design, and data sources to stay current and scalable for future use.
- Team Leadership: Chair proposal review meetings, define measurable objectives, and lead the team toward on-time, successful submission-without overlooking relational nuances (such as contract terms or risk mitigation).
- Feedback Analysis: Continuously refine proposals by applying lessons from successful (and unsuccessful submissions).
# Ideal Candidate
Key Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field (with professional proposal backgrounds being an asset).
- Proven Track Record: 2–4 years+ of experience in CROs, medical device, or pharmaceutical markets—specifically in winning daily proposal management.
- Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Proposal management tools (ACCOTrip, Impakt, or equivalent).
