Proposals Manager
Bid Manager – Pre-Construction Rolls-Royce
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, strategic and creative bid professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing together people, ideas and technical expertise to produce compelling winning submissions.
The Role
Reporting into our Pre-construction team, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end bid process, managing multiple tender submissions simultaneously while ensuring every proposal is delivered to the highest standard, on time and fully compliant with client requirements.
Working closely with our Pre-construction Directors, Estimators, Project Teams and wider business, you'll:
- Develop winning strategies
- Create engaging submission documents
- Continuously improve our proposal systems and processes
About You
We're looking for someone who combines:
- Exceptional organisation skills
- Strong writing proficiency and proofreading abilities
- A genuine passion for producing winning proposals

Your ideal candidate will also be:
- Collaborative and proactive

- Able to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines

- Someone who takes ownership and continuously seeks process improvements
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience in bid and proposal management, preferably within the construction, engineering, architecture or built environment sector
- Track record of successfully coordinating complex tender submissions from inception to completion
- Excellent written communication, editing and proofreading skills
- Ability to facilitate bid meetings and lead multidisciplinary teams
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign and the Microsoft Office Suite
- Interest in applying AI and continuous improvement in proposal development

Qualifications
Although not mandatory, a Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in:
- Business
- Marketing
- Communications
- Construction Management
- Related discipline
is desirable. Alternately, relevant industry experience will be considered.
