Job Description

Location: Edinburgh
Contract Type: Permanent
Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
Closing date: 15th July 2026

We’re building a team of Proposition Specialists to support the delivery of customer migration initiatives within the UK Customer business unit, part of the Solutions Design & Experience Development team. This role is central to shaping our proposition strategy and driving improvements across Pensions and ISA services. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assist the delivery of a clear roadmap and ensure regulatory compliance, all while enhancing customer outcomes and enabling agile, impactful delivery.

As a Proposition Specialist, you will progress the end-to-end proposition, working across functions, and will deliver proposition innovations to improve the experience and outcomes for our customers and their advisers. This includes the creation of new, and changes to existing, propositions, supporting the delivery of the Royal London retirement strategy.

About the Role

  • Support the delivery of the customer migration roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
  • Collaborate with other key functions to ensure detailed design and implementation of proposition developments are in line with strategy.
  • Stay informed about behavioural, market, and external changes, helping to shape solutions that meet the needs of customers and their advisers.
  • Apply the Proposition Development policy and guidance to ensure consistency and quality in delivery.
  • Play a constructive role in shaping the strategic plan, offering thoughtful challenge where appropriate.
  • Ensure the customer and adviser journeys are mapped accurately and in a way that helps spot areas for improvement.
  • Provide ongoing support for existing propositions and products, including reviewing technical communications for accuracy and relevance.
  • Embrace agile ways of working to help deliver change in the most effective way possible.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
