EMS businesses: Wewise Europe

In addition to driving decarbonisation with a range of alternative biofuels and gases, DCC Energy has also scaled a leading electron-based Energy Management Service (EMS) business; underpinned by several solar acquisitions across Europe in the last four years.

Operating under the Wewise brand, this network of B2B green power businesses is well positioned to support the energy transition by offering a wide array of energy solutions across 8 countries and 12+ businesses (>300 MW solar installed in FY26 + add-on products).

We focus on empowering Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers to make the shift to electrification with tailored renewable energy solutions. Our ambition is to give all customers the power to choose a cleaner energy future today, no matter where they are on their energy transition journey. Together, we bring a comprehensive approach to sustainable energy, helping businesses navigate the energy transition with confidence and success.

Combining global expertise with strong local proximity, we empower our customers to reduce their carbon footprint, enhance operational resilience, and turn cleaner power into a competitive advantage. The Team

The delivery of our ambitious strategy depends on the people who bring it to life. Our energetic and agile European team has been operating for over 2 years to accelerate and lead the delivery of DCC’s EMS strategy, focusing on top-line and bottom-line synergies.

The team works across more than 12 EMS businesses in Germany, the UK, France, Austria, Ireland, Norway and Denmark (with more countries to come), bringing these operations together, and turning shared opportunities into real value.

It is a small, dynamic and collaborative multi-cultural team focused on supporting local entrepreneurial teams, unlocking synergies, whilst contributing to strategic discussions at Group level.

In the first year, the team was built. In the second, it tested pilots and proved what works. The focus now is on scaling these results across the business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
