Proprietary Equipment Assembly & Integration Manager

The expansion of the Engineering Department means we are now looking to recruit new Proprietary Equipment Assembly & Integration Manager. Can you say ‘yes’?... Can you lead large-scale industrial projects by supervising the installation of technology equipment, electrical works, and process piping while ensuring strict HSE compliance? Can you coordinate daily contractor activities and resolve site interfaces to keep execution perfectly aligned with the installation schedule and contracts? Can you maintain rigorous control over work quality and quantities, managing site instructions and punch lists to ensure budget and technical adherence? Can you adapt to an international rotation system, spending 6 weeks on-site followed by 2 weeks at home, to deliver excellence on our major capital projects? As KIE – Proprietary Equipment Assembly & Integration Manager, you'd be driving the operational success of our construction sites by orchestrating complex technology installations, leading contractor safety and performance, and ensuring every technical milestone is delivered with precision through a dedicated 6/2 rotation system. What you’ll be doing: Lead by example on HSE and enforce KI Site Safety Regulations and Construction Site Regulations. Supervise installation of Technology equipment and Electrical works. Supervise installation of Process and Utility piping. Coordinate daily work fronts and interfaces between contractors, ensuring reliable work coordination systems. Monitor progress versus the Installation Schedule; escalate risks and propose recovery actions. Control work quality: verify conformity to specifications, manage inspections, and close punch items. Control work quantities: verify installed quantities, keep daily/weekly records, and support measurement signoff. Manage additional work and changes on site through Site Instructions; verify scope, quantities and time impact. Support budget adherence by tracking quantities/changes and providing accurate input to the Construction Manager/Project Manager. Contribute to establishing the site organisation in line with the Construction Site Staffing Plan; support mobilisation and supervision routines. Maintain a reliable safety work system and issue clear, timely Weekly Construction Status Reports. Foster good communication, proactively resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with site and country specific requirements. Site supervision set up and day to day coordination aligned with the Construction Site Staffing Plan approved by the Project Manager. Weekly Construction Status Reports covering safety, progress, quality, quantities and changes. Enforced Construction Site Regulations and KI Site Safety Regulations; functioning safety work system. Execution aligned to the Installation Schedule and Installation Contracts, with controlled changes via Site Instructions. Accurate quantity records and documented quality inspections/punch-list closure. We're looking for someone who is a natural leader with a rigorous safety mindset, an excellent communicator capable of resolving conflicts on-site, and a highly organized professional who remains delivery-focused in fast-paced construction environments. If you have experience in the following areas – this is an added advantage: Degree in Technical or Civil Engineering. Proven track record in large-scale Capital Investment or EPC projects. On-site supervision of technology equipment, electrical systems, or process/utility piping. Proficiency in quality assurance, quantity control, and contract/change management (Site Instructions). Ability to work in an international context with a 6/2 (weeks) rotation system.
