ABOUT YOU
You will focus on hardware setup, testing, and troubleshooting, working closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver customer testing requirements. You will contribute to maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency, and accuracy across test facilities.
Required skills and experience:
- Vocational qualification in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline is desirable
- Hands-on experience in automotive, mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or similar industry relevant environment considered
- Great team player and be able to deliver as part of a wider team
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft 365

Responsibilities of the role:
- Conduct tests on propulsion systems using laboratory-based facilities, as outlined by project engineer or customer engineer.
- Monitor and record test data, ensuring it meets quality and performance standards. Raising any anomalies or issues observed to project engineers.
- Support the troubleshooting and resolving of issues in a methodical manner, introducing solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance test methodologies, operational efficiency and standardisation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional internal and client teams.
- Adherence to health and safety policies.
- Support risk assessment of safe working in the test environment and the actioning of risk items.
