Prospect Development Officer – NSPCC
About the Role

The role sits within the Prospect Development Team in the Philanthropy and Partnerships department. We are a supportive, fun, and collaborative team specialising in expert prospect management, identification, and research for the NSPCC’s fundraising initiatives.
Beyond internal work, the team plays a key role in:
- Sharing insights on philanthropy and corporate giving trends
- Ensuring compliance with sector regulations in fundraising and research practices
- Delivering a friendly, user-centred, and evidence-driven service
- Fostering authenticity and inclusivity in the workplace

Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to the Income Generation directorate’s mission of maximising income from supporters through:
- Carrying out prospect research and identification activities
- Producing prospect profiles to inform fundraising strategies
- Identifying new fundraising opportunities and offering actionable insights
- Collaborating with Philanthropy and Partnerships, other fundraising teams, and NSPCC departments to ensure research aligns with stakeholder needs
