Protection Engineer
Protection Engineer – Integrated Utility Services (Stockton)
As a Protection Engineer, you will be fully responsible for HV/LV design, plant commissioning, protection commissioning, and protection maintenance. This exciting, new opportunity is based at our Stockton office.
Key Responsibilities
- Design of High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Systems
- High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Commissioning
- High Voltage/Low Voltage Protection Maintenance
- Plant Commissioning Engineer support
- Implementing fault-find and rectification measures
- Providing technical support for Integrated Utility Services (IUS)
- G59/99 Protection Commissioning
- Managing subcontractors
- Procuring materials for electrical panels (e.g., interposing relay G59/G99)

Qualifications & Experience
Essential Requirements
- HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Knowledge of Power System Protection fundamentals
- Safety-trained for construction sites or plants (preferably CSCS and/or CCNSG certified)
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Advanced Power System Protection expertise
- Knowledge of complex protection studies and system design
