Job Profile Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Proxy Voting team. This role offers an opportunity to build a career in investment operations, specialising in a high-profile area of the industry.
Key responsibilities include supporting the end-to-end proxy voting process, ensuring accurate and timely execution across our accounts.

- Proxy Voting Support
- Assist in managing day-to-day proxy voting activity, including ballot monitoring and execution across platforms.
- Prepare and handle vote instructions.

Platform Operations
- Gain working knowledge of proxy voting platforms (e.g., Glass Lewis), ensuring data accuracy.

Workflow Assistance
- Support voting workflows and ensure deadlines are met.
- Respond to issues with timely escalation.

Data Quality & Compliance
- Assist with reconciliations, exception handling, and audit trails.
- Ensure voting aligns with regulatory requirements and client mandates.

Reporting
- Contribute to internal and client-facing reports and management information.

Process Improvement
- Support operational efficiency initiatives through workflow documentation.

Third-Party Liaison
- Coordinate with custodians, prime brokers, proxy agents, and external teams to ensure accurate and timely processing.
Experience & Qualifications
No prior financial services experience required—passion for investment operations and financial markets is essential.
Required:
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

- Eager to learn and develop expertise in a specialised operational function.
- Methodical, process-driven, with a strong focus on accuracy and risk awareness.
- Clear communicator, skilled in engaging with internal teams and external counterparties.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a collaborative team approach.
- Strong prioritisation skills, especially during peak periods.
