Job Profile Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Proxy Voting team—an ideal opportunity to build a career in investment operations, specialising in a high-impact area of the industry. In this role, you will support the end-to-end proxy voting process, collaborating with the team to ensure accurate and timely execution across Man Group’s accounts.
Key Responsibilities
Proxy Voting Support
- Assist in managing day-to-day proxy voting activities, including:
- Monitoring ballots
- Preparing and executing vote instructions across relevant platforms
- Ensure compliance with ballot deadlines and vote record-keeping

Platform Operations
- Develop expertise in proxy voting platforms (e.g., Glass Lewis or equivalents)
- Maintain the accuracy of system data and support seamless processing of ballots
Workflow Assistance
- Contribute to voting workflows, hitting deadlines and escalating issues promptly
Data Quality & Compliance
- Assist with reconciliations, exception handling, and audit trails
- Ensure voting activity aligns with regulatory requirements and client mandates
- Flag queries or discrepancies to appropriate stakeholders
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Contribute to internal and client-facing voting reports, providing actionable insights
- Participate in operational efficiency initiatives
- Support documentation of procedures and controls
Third-Party Liaison
- Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, proxy agents, and external teams to ensure:
- Timely and accurate account set-up
- Efficient processing of voting instructions
Experience & Qualifications
✅ No prior financial services experience required – a genuine interest in investment operations and financial markets is essential. ✅ Strong analytical skills with an exceptional attention to detail ✅ Excellent organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under tight deadlines
