Job Profile Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Proxy Voting team. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in investment operations — ideally with some exposure to proxy voting or corporate actions — to develop deep expertise in a specialised and high-profile area of investment operations. You will support the end-to-end proxy voting process, working closely with team members to ensure accurate and timely execution of voting activity across Man Group's accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proxy Voting Support — Assist in the day-to-day management of proxy voting activity, including ballot monitoring, vote instruction preparation, and execution across relevant platforms.
  • Platform Operations — Develop working knowledge of proxy voting platforms (e.g. Glass Lewis or equivalent), supporting the accuracy of system data and processing of ballots.
  • Workflow Assistance — Managing voting workflows, ensuring deadlines are met and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Data Quality — Assist with reconciliations, exception handling, and the maintenance of accurate records and audit trails across all proxy voting activity.
  • Compliance Support — Help ensure voting activity aligns with applicable regulatory requirements and client accounts, flagging queries or discrepancies to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Reporting — Contribute to the preparation of internal and client-facing voting reports and management information.
  • Process Improvement — Participate in initiatives to improve operational efficiency and support the documentation of procedures and controls.
  • Third Party Liaison — Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, proxy agents, and external teams to ensure timely and accurate account set-up and processing of voting instructions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
