Emergency Department Flow Coordinators Opportunity at Dr Gray’s Hospital
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and motivated Emergency Department Flow Coordinators (Flo-Co) to join the team at Dr Gray’s Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Day to day management of patient flow across ED
- Collaborating with the ED NiC, clinical and operational teams
- Preventing/resolving ambulance delays, breaches, and complex discharge/transfer issues
- Maintaining a large network of multidisciplinary professionals
- Innovatively and creatively finding solutions to individual issues
Requirements
- Providing up to date, reliable, and consistent information on the real-time ED capacity to operational managers
- Registered nurse with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the acute sector
- Sound clinical knowledge of various specialties
- Sound knowledge of patient flow

Eligibility
- Must be filling a public sector role such as NHS healthcare professionals (e.g., Consultants, Nurses, Physiotherapists) where local skills shortages exist
- Must be moving to Moray from outside the area
- Must be willing to accept a Short Scottish Secure Tenancy (SSST), which is a temporary housing arrangement
Duration
- Housing will be provided for a minimum of six months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months
