About the Role
NHS Scotland is committed to equality and diversity, striving to create a workforce that reflects the communities it serves and where every employee feels valued. NHS Moray offers a distinct approach to healthcare delivery:
- Relationships over rigid boundaries: Fostering integrated, proactive and person-centred care.

- Support the multidisciplinary team in delivering compassionate care for acutely unwell medical patients.
- Collaborate on and contribute to the newservice model being piloted at Dr Gray’s Hospital.
- Encourage professional growth: We actively promote teaching, mentoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Work flexibly to align with personal career interests while maintaining work-life balance.
Requirements
- Full registration on the GMC Register with a valid licence to practise (proof required prior to start).
- A passion for innovating in front-door care, with a focus on improving patient outcomes within a rural community.
- Willingness to drive service improvement and participate in teaching or mentoring opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
