PSP Financial Analyst
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a PSP Financial Analyst based in United Kingdom.
As a PSP Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and financial performance of payment operations across multiple providers. This position combines financial analysis, reconciliation, operational control, and stakeholder communication to support reliable payment processes and informed business decisions. You will work with large financial datasets, investigate discrepancies, optimize provider costs, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced international environment. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments while taking ownership of critical financial operations that directly impact business performance and customer experience.
Accountabilities:
- Manage relationships and day-to-day communication with payment service providers while ensuring compliance with agreed contractual terms.
- Monitor account balances across multiple payment systems and maintain strong financial control over payment operations.
- Analyze provider fees, exchange rates, commissions, and contract conditions to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
- Reconcile transaction records with provider statements, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Oversee timely processing of customer payouts and company withdrawals while resolving payment-related issues.
- Maintain payment process documentation and recommend improvements based on financial analysis and operational insights.

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in financial analysis, finance operations, payment operations, reconciliation, or a related finance role.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including working with large datasets and financial reporting.
- Experience performing reconciliations, balance controls, transaction analysis, and financial reporting.
- Good understanding of financial processes, cost control, and management accounting principles.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail and the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and external payment providers.
- Intermediate or higher English proficiency for written communication.
- Experience with payment service providers, fintech, banking, e-commerce, retail, or iGaming is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Tableau or other business intelligence tools and basic SQL knowledge is considered a plus.
