PSV Mechanic

Your duties will include: Servicing, maintenance, and repair of PSV vehicles Mechanical and electrical fault finding and diagnostics MOT preparation and preventative maintenance inspections Vehicle safety inspections and quality control checks Roadside breakdown response and reactive repairs Using modern diagnostic equipment and workshop technology Working collaboratively within a skilled engineering team Shift work including earlies, lates, and weekends (5 days out of 7) What We’re Looking For To be successful in this PSV Mechanic / PCV Engineer role, you should have: Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in PSV, HGV, automotive or vehicle engineering Experience as a PSV Mechanic, HGV Technician, Bus Engineer, or Vehicle Technician Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Knowledge of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures Ability to work independently and follow engineering standards Electrical systems knowledge (desirable but not essential) PCV licence preferred — training can be provided IRTEC accreditation welcomed Build Your Engineering Career with Arriva If you’re a skilled PSV Engineer or HGV Technician looking for a long-term engineering career with genuine progression opportunities, Arriva Telford Depot offers the stability, training, and professional environment to help you succeed.
