To support our growth and success, we are now recruiting a PSV Technician at our Machynlleth depot to join our team of Engineers and Technicians.
The Role
As a PSV Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- The on-going repair and maintenance of our public service buses and coaches
- Working in a shift-pattern rota, ensuring a seamless service for our customers
- Taking on vehicles inspections, maintenance, and repairs, including M.O.T preparation
- Conducting monthly inspections while adhering to Company Operators Licence guidelines and industry standards
- Meticulous attention to health and safety in all tasks

Our average working week is 42 hours, with opportunities for overtime when required.
Person Specification
Industry Experience
Candidates should ideally have experience within the:
- PSV (Public Service Vehicle) sector
- HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) maintenance
- Alternatively, excellent experience as a Vehicle Technician (car/van mechanics)
Qualifications & Training
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in a relevant field (preferred)
- Equivalent qualification/no formal qualifications but with significant time-served experience as a technician will be considered
Licensing Requirements
- PSV licence is highly beneficial yet not essential at application stage
- If you don’t have one, the company will provide training as part of the role.
- Part of obtaining the licence requires meeting medical standards, which you must be medically fit to pass.
