PSV/HGV Mechanic
PSV/HGV Mechanic – Blantyre Depot
Location: Blantyre depot, 5 Glasgow Road, G72 0LA Contracted Hours: 37 per week (permanent + overtime available) Working Hours: 5 days over 7, dayshifts (mixture of 6am/7am/8am starts) with 1 week per month covering a 10am–6pm shift Pay: £20.50 per hour

We’re looking for qualified Mechanics (PSV/HGV) to join a dedicated team repairing our fleet across Glasgow.
Minimum Qualifications:
- NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) preferred in PSV/HGV, but we welcome:
- Light Vehicle qualified candidates
- Ex-Forces personnel with engineering apprenticeships
- Experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a career change

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service PSV/HGV fleets
- Specify repairs and parts for vehicle faults
- Conduct servicing and routine examinations (where applicable)
- On-road breakdown support & recoveries (as needed)
- Vehicle road testing to verify defects after repair
About You
You’re a proactive mechanic with: ✅ NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (Vehicle Maintenance/Repair) – or equivalent ✅ A flexible, multiskilled attitude ✅ UK driving licence (PCV licence desirable but trainable)
