Psychiatrist
Program of Assertive Community Treatment (PACT)
Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible hours)
What you will do
The Psychiatrist will be a member of a self-contained interdisciplinary team which utilizes an assertive recovery-oriented outreach model to serve 80 clients. The psychiatrist will share clinical responsibility with the Team Leader, a licensed clinician, for developing and monitoring clinical treatment and supervising staff delivery of clinical services. This is a unique opportunity to be afforded the time to be actively involved in all aspects of client treatment. The Psychiatrist will:
- Provide medical supervision to nursing staff
- Conduct staff training
- Administer psychopharmalogical treatment to PACT clients
- Offer supportive therapy
- Perform crisis evaluations
- Provide consultation to families
- Handle some administrative responsibilities
Outreach services provided in clients’ homes or other community locations as needed.
Who You Are
- M.D.
- Board certified or Board eligible in psychiatry
- Licensed to practice medicine in Massachusetts
- Experience working with individuals with serious mental illness required
- Knowledge of PACT model preferred
- Experience with Electronic Health Record preferred
- Basic computer skills required
- Valid driver’s license required

When we’re not at work, we love to hike, bike, craft, read, shop and sing opera, among many other things! Our staff of 350 have a range of interests and skills and we know you do too! At work, we are psychiatrists, social workers, clinicians, nurses, behavior specialists, peer specialists, board certified behavior analysts, direct service staff and employment specialists.
