Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Co-Ordinator

Wednesday-Friday Role: PWP Co-ordinator (Band 7) – Talking Therapies, Berkshire

A Monday-Friday working pattern is one of the key benefits of a full-time permanent PWP Co-ordinator (37.5-hour) role with Talking Therapies. We are seeking an experienced Band 7 PWP Co-ordinator to join our supportive team across Berkshire, based at Erlegh House, Reading, with travel required to East and West Berkshire localities.

One office attendance per week is required, with the remaining days worked remotely.


About the Role

As part of the IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service, we drive innovation, embed cutting-edge digital solutions, and lead quality improvement initiatives within mental health care.

You will work closely with:

  • Clinical service managers
  • S2 Co-ordinators
  • S2 team leads

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support seamless care delivery for all clients accessing Talking Therapies
  • Equip the S2 team with updated knowledge, streamlining S2 pathways, supervisory models, and community partnerships
  • Deliver cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT)-based interventions for mild-to-moderate depression and anxiety via low-intensity, high-volume service lines
  • Lead the development of service improvement projects across East Berkshire (in collaboration with clinical service leads)
  • Maintain communication with Step 3 team leads to ensure smooth transitions between therapy tiers
  • Strategise care pathways and enrichment opportunities, including long-term condition support in tandem with the employment team
  • case management of the S2/PWP team (including line management accountability for the team)
  • Represent the trust at various venues to enhance our clinical reach and engagement
