PWP Co-Ordinator Role – Talking Therapies, Berkshire Healthcare NHS FT

this role is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday. Through 37.5 hours, you'll help us deliver high-quality mental health support across East and West Berkshire.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Band 7 PWP Co-Ordinator to work from our erbledge base at Erlegh House, Reading, with a mix of office-based and homeworking duties (expected attendance at least once per week in-person).

Berkshire Healthcare NHS FT is an IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies) service, known for its innovation, digital innovations, and high-quality improvement initiatives.

As part of our Talking Therapies team, you’ll coordinate and enhance the Step 2 service, ensuring a seamless transition for all clients between Step 2 and Step 3.

Responsibilities

  • Support the clinical service managers, S2 Co-Ordinators, and team leads to deliver a smooth experience for clients accessing psychological therapies (CBT for mild-to-moderate anxiety and depression).
  • Assist in developing and improving operational workflows, including:
    • New pathways, supervision structures, and community links.
  • Coordinate capacity management in Step 2 across East Berkshire and oversee line management of PWP and Band 6 teams.
  • Work closely with employment support teams to help clients facing employment or long-term health challenges.
  • Contribute to diversity-inclusive care pathways and client outcomes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
