Role: Clinical Psychologist / Psychotherapeutic Practitioner (Ehivate Therapy focus) Location: Priory Hospital Preston Compensation: £48,255 per year Contract: Part-Time | 20 hours per week | Site-based
About the Hospital
Based in Bartle, near Preston, Priory Hospital Preston is a 50-bedded mental health hospital offering comprehensive therapeutic interventions across four wards. It provides specialised care for:
- Adult males and females
- Acute mental health needs
- Eating disorders
Description
We seek a motivated and compassionate professional to join our team, delivering tailored person-centred therapy programmes. As part of our multidisciplinary team, your role will focus on assessing clients and designing interventions that foster holistic recovery—addressing mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate responses to referrals, completing comprehensive assessments of patient needs.
- Develop, implement and review person-centred treatment programmes using a range of evidence-based therapies.
- Work in collaboration with:
- Service users and their families
- Carers
- Multidisciplinary team members
- Promote recovery goals and maximise treatment effectiveness and independence for individuals.
- Continuously monitor and align care plans with emerging best practice.
