Clinical Psychologist – Yorkshire Region (Bradford, Rotherham & Wakefield)
Salary: £54,584 - £64,058 (including paid school holidays) Benefits: Excellent benefits package, including training, holistic support and flexible working

As part of this mission, we’re looking for a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join a multi-disciplinary team in our Yorkshire region, delivering exceptional clinical support across two specialist Integrated Learning Centres in Bradford, as well as partner schools in Rotherham and Wakefield.
About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in a model that prioritises joined-up support for young people with complex needs. Their challenges may include developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, or special educational needs (SEN).
Within our residential schools and children’s homes, you’ll:
- Provide therapeutic interventions based on clinical assessments
- Support educational, residential and clinical teams in designing living and learning environments that nurture growth
- Offer workshops, training, and guidance, ingraining therapeutic support into every facet of care and education
- Meaningly engage with young people, helping them flourish despite challenging circumstances.
You’ll collaborate closely with our diverse 220-strong clinical team, accessing gentle guidance and robust supervision throughout your tenure.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessment & Formulation: Diagnose, evaluate, and develop targeted therapeutic engagement strategies for young people with complex needs.
- Consultation & Leadership: Guide multidisciplinary teams on how to create safe, supportive, and developmentally beneficial living and learning experiences.
- Personalised Intervention: Help translate psychological insights into effective, adaptable interventions that meet individual needs.
- Training & Development: Provide training, supervision, and mentorship that elevates team expertise and impact.
- Professional Growth: Proactively engage with our established clinical development programmes to bolster your career in psychology.
- Participate in Direct Supervision: Benefit from structured supervision and structured professional development opportunities.

Requirements
To be successful, you must:
- Hold a qualified Clinical Psychologist (HCPC registered), with credentials in Clinical, Educational, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology.
- Offer proven expertise in effectively assessing, formulating, and interventional strategies for neurodivergent young people with complex needs.
- Demonstrate prior experience in supporting multidisciplinary teams while fostering clinically informed educational and residential environments.
- Showcase:
- Strong confidence, engagement, and fluency as a leader, trainer, and practitioner.
- Organisational initiative and an ability to adapt proactively.
- A compelling commitment to ensuring positive life outcomes for young people.
