Psychologist – Specialist Care and Education rôles (HCPC Registered)

Employer: [Shire Healthcare] are working with a reputable and leading provider of specialist care and education recruiting for a HCPC registered Psychologist to join their team across two schools, including a new school opening in Autumn 2026 in Bristol.

Role Summary

The successful candidate will:

  • Join a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)
  • Conduct clinical assessments
  • Deliver specialist, evidence-based psychological interventions in:
    • One-to-one (121) or group settings
    • Across a specialist school, with collaborative work in children’s homes and integrated provisions

Contract & Salary

  • Contract type: Permanent (term time only)
  • Hours: Full-time (part-time applications considered)
  • Salary (FTE, term-time only): £54,584 – £64,058 (pro-rata for part-time)

Experience Requirements

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • HCP[C] registration as a:
    • Clinical Psychologist
    • Counselling Psychologist
    • Forensic Psychology trainee or registered clinician
    • Educational Psychologist
  • Proven experience working with:
    • Children and young people
    • Complex needs, including:
      • ASD/autism
      • Neurodiversity
      • Trauma
