Psychology Graduate | Barnet | September Start

Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain meaningful experience supporting children with additional needs?

A welcoming 2-form entry primary school in Barnet is seeking a compassionate and proactive Psychology Graduate to join their dedicated inclusion team this September as a full-time Learning Support Assistant.

This Psychology Graduate role involves providing 1:1 support for pupils with autism, ADHD and other complex needs, helping them access learning, develop social skills and thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

About the Role:

As a Psychology Graduate, you will:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for pupils with autism, ADHD and complex learning needs
  • Adapt learning activities to suit individual needs and learning styles
  • Work closely with the SENDCo, class teachers and external professionals
  • Build positive relationships that promote confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing
  • Help create a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A Russell Group Psychology Graduate (2:1 minimum)
  • A Levels achieved at A*-A standard
  • Patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships with children
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Someone eager to gain practical experience within a primary school setting
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential
