Are you a Psychology Graduate looking to gain first-hand experience supporting children and young people with SEN in Wembley, Brent?
We are looking for a Psychology Graduate who is keen to build meaningful school-based experience, particularly working with vulnerable pupils with additional needs.
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant Role
- Ideal for an Aspiring Educational Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist
- Opportunity to support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis
- Full-time contract from September 2026 until July 2027
- Work in class and deliver targeted interventions
- Support pupils with Autism, Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language difficulties
- Pro-rata salary of £18,750+
- Circa £500 per week, paid weekly on a PAYE basis

As a Psychology Graduate, you will work as a Teaching Assistant alongside pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans who require additional academic, social and emotional support.
The school regularly employs Psychology Graduates who are looking to spend a full academic year developing their understanding of SEN, child development and vulnerable learners. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate looking to strengthen their experience before applying for a Master’s, doctorate or further professional training.
Psychology Graduates will benefit from direct classroom experience, ongoing guidance from the school’s SENCO and access to relevant CPD and training.
The school is looking for a Psychology Graduate who can demonstrate patience, resilience and a genuine commitment to helping pupils of all abilities learn and develop. You will work closely with teaching staff and the inclusion team to maintain a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment.
