Supporting Key Stage 3 and 4 children with special educational needs
The Role
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting Key Stage 3 children with special educational need (SEND). Supporting pupils on a 1-2-1 and small group basis, helping them to engage with lesson and reach their full potential. You will be supported by experienced teachers and Teaching Assistants, helping you to develop your skills and understanding of a range of additional learning needs.

The Candidate
This position is suitable for a Psychology Graduate who is either considering a career in teaching or Educational Psychology and looking to gain additional school-based experience as a graduate teaching assistant. The school is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and compassionate graduate, who will take the time to understand the needs of individual learners. Previous experience working with children on either a voluntary or paid basis is desirable, but not essential. A positive approach and a smile for every child is key!
