Job Description

Five Education are looking for compassionate, patient, and motivated Psychology Graduates to join a supportive SEND school in Bristol as Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience supporting children and young people with additional needs.

The school supports students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities. In this role, you will help pupils access learning, develop emotional regulation skills, and build confidence within a structured and supportive environment.

This position is particularly suited to graduates interested in educational psychology, clinical psychology, therapy, social work, or teaching, who are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience in a specialist setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support based on pupils’ individual needs and EHCP targets.
  • Support students in developing communication, emotional regulation, and social skills.
  • Assist teachers in adapting learning activities to suit different abilities and learning styles.
  • Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, engaged, and confident in school.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
