My client is an established UK manufacturer specialising in advanced polymer-based manufacturing processes, supplying a diverse customer base across sectors including automotive, healthcare, and industrial equipment. The business has built a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service and continues to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies, people, and long-term growth.

As a successful privately owned organisation with an established leadership team and loyal workforce, the company offers a supportive, collaborative, and forward-thinking culture where employees are genuinely valued and rewarded for their contribution.

This is a post for a proactive and skilled Manager to head up and lead the production team in the RIM and PU department. The role covers all processes from raw materials through to finished product. Shop floor based, the Manager is responsible for ensuring production targets, quality standards, health and safety procedures, and housekeeping standards are met at all times. Are you a leader with strong organisational skills and a commitment to upholding high standards across all aspects of production and team performance? If so, this could be the job for you.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
