Public Affairs Manager | Hybrid (London) | 6-Month FTC | £45-50k pro rata

We're recruiting a Public Affairs Manager for a leading business membership organisation representing London's business community, with a network of nearly 12,000 members across the capital.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a public affairs professional to lead high-profile advocacy work at a pivotal time for London business, supporting a major Autumn engagement campaign and building relationships across Westminster and City Hall.

  • Supporting delivery of a high-profile Autumn engagement campaign
  • Building and maintaining political and stakeholder relationships across Westminster, City Hall and beyond
  • Horizon scanning to identify advocacy opportunities
  • Leading the organisation's Affiliate Chambers programme
  • Organising cross-party panels and conference events
  • Supporting media and digital engagement, including press materials

What we're looking for:

  • A strong public affairs, campaigning or political background, with a track record of influencing policymakers
  • Experience turning stakeholder engagement into compelling advocacy
  • Excellent communication skills, confident representing the organisation externally
  • Experience preparing briefings for senior figures
  • Media, digital or existing Westminster/City Hall contacts would be a bonus

Fixed term for 6 months, hybrid (3 days office, 2 days home), with some evening and weekend event attendance required.
