Public Area Attendant

As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning and servicing public areas (bar/restaurant/events area), corridors, fire exits, stairways, and service areas on assigned floors/areas to ensure they are clean, orderly, attractive, and well maintained.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping experience from a fast-paced and luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a consistently professional demeanor and represent NoMad London positively in all interactions.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, HR guidelines, and compliance trainings.
  • Manage workload and responsibilities efficiently.
  • Foster clear and effective communication within the team, across departments, and between hotels and management.
  • Champion company values and foster a positive and collaborative approach.
  • Prioritize guest-facing areas and urgent tasks.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with Front Office, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage departments.
  • Regularly check and ensure the cleanliness and readiness of guest toilets.
  • Provide high-quality cleaning services in Front of House and Back of House areas.
  • Complete all daily tasks in accordance with Knowcross recurring job schedules.
  • Regularly check the Knowcross system for assigned duties, completion times, and updates.
  • Keep working areas clean and tidy, and maintain cleaning equipment in good working condition.
  • Ensure service areas are well-stocked with necessary products and cleaned at all times.
  • Promptly report issues such as equipment and maintenance problems, or stains on furniture and carpets to the department manager.
  • Perform regular deep cleaning of all hotel areas as instructed.
  • Collect, process, and deliver laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing for guests in the absence of the valet.
  • When handling guest laundry, verify the correct service, follow the process, and accurately count items, reporting any stains, rips, or holes.
  • Inspect all garments for lost property and report any findings to management promptly.
  • Follow H&S and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by business needs.
