Public Area Cleaner

The BoTree is looking for a Public Area Cleaner to join their Housekeeping Team. This role is crucial for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort in all public hotel areas. You will be part of a dedicated housekeeping team, contributing to a welcoming and immaculate environment.

Requirements

  • A passion for hospitality and delivering excellent standards.
  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience, ideally within a hotel or customer-focused environment.
  • A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality.
  • A positive, professional, and proactive approach to work.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working hours and operational demands.

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel, including guest corridors, lobby areas, public washrooms, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensuring all areas are presented to the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance at all times.
  • Responding promptly to cleaning requests and operational priorities throughout the shift.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns to the appropriate department.
  • Supporting the Housekeeping team with additional cleaning duties as required.
  • Replenishing guest supplies and amenities within public areas.
  • Following all health, safety, and hygiene procedures to maintain a safe environment for guests and colleagues.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
