Principal Public Health Engineer
Location: London
Join a leading international building services consultancy who are recruiting a Principal Public Health Engineer to grow and lead their expanding team in London.
This is an outstanding opportunity to lead the delivery of challenging, high-profile projects across mission critical/data centres, commercial, and mixed-use development sectors.
Key Responsibilities & Impact:
- Drive major projects end-to-end, with a focus on complex water services, drainage, sanitation, gas, and fire suppression systems
- Work directly with clients to understand needs, deliver solutions, and form long-term technical relationships
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering growth while upholding high professional standards
- Champion technical excellence—ensuring project delivery aligns with CIBSE guidance, British Standards, and UK Building Regulations

Current Team Needs: We’re looking for candidates with at least 7+ years’ experience in Public Health Building Services, who demonstrate:
- Deep expertise in water services, drainage, sanitation, gas and fire suppression systems
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage high-profile client engagements
- Hands-on experience in mission critical/data centre projects (preferred)
- Commitment to skilled mentorship and professional mentoring
