PR Account Executive
Location: London (hybrid working, 2-3 days in office)
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time
Reporting to: Account Managers

The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Account Executive to join our London team. This is a fast-paced role supporting the team on global client accounts. The role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills.
Public Relations
- To develop and maintain press/influencer contacts through frequent communication and face-to-face meetings
- Familiarise yourself with target media and influencers and identify potential client and press opportunities with your team
- To maintain media and influencer lists, including researching and utilising company databases and existing lists to ensure lists are accurate and up-to-date
- To meet KPIs set by manager for meetings with journalists, influencers, brands or industry contacts every month.
Client Relations
- To track press and influencer coverage and record in relevant client trackers
- To ensure that press/social coverage and other items are fact-checked and sent to a client in a timely manner, including proofreading of coverage emails with good attention to detail so they are good to send
- To compile reports to a high standard ready for review, with minimal amends required, in good time to be sent at the end of every month
- To create and assist with updating agendas for all client calls, as well as taking minutes during calls, and sharing with the client in a timely manner
- To be client-facing and to establish good client relations through regular contact
- To secure sufficient coverage every month for each client, according to individual KPIs set out by your Account Manager
- To ensure each client receives sufficient time and attention to achieve the required results defined by your manager.

Writing Skills
- To write good quality and grammatically correct press releases and pitches with excellent attention to detail for sign-off by your manager.
Management & Administration
- To manage the day-to-day activity of your intern and/or assistant
- To perform administration, including but not limited to answering the phone and intercom, updating and managing the company events diary, tidying up, market research, organising transport and couriers, and the maintenance of company online filing systems
- Where relevant, to organise sample and product send outs
- To organise yourself effectively to meet team and client deadlines
- To communicate effectively and transparently with your team
- To attend weekly team meetings and report on activity
- To assist with inputting coverage into client monthly reports
- To produce minutes and action lists following client meetings for management approval within 24hrs
- To maintain your workspace to the standards set out by the Directors.

General
- To implement company practice and develop and maintain systems
- To prepare weekly internal team/divisional updates each Monday for the company.
- To attain and maintain the requisite IT skills to efficiently utilise the company’s office hardware and software packages, including Google (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Google Drive)
- To adhere to the company’s code of conduct and systems, as set out in the company handbook
- Review publications and report client coverage and relevant articles to the team
- Read widely - target, general and social media to widen knowledge of the news agenda, cultural affairs, events and articles of interest to Bacchus client sectors
- To maintain an awareness of social media and deliver regular content for the company's social media accounts
- To conduct yourself in an appropriate professional and mature manner at all times; within the office, in front of the client and at any point when you are representing Bacchus
- To maintain your workspace to the standards set out by the Directors
- Attend and support at client events across the agency & industry events.
