Job Overview
This PR Account Manager role is ideal for an experienced communications professional looking to take ownership of client accounts and contribute to the continued growth of a successful agency. As a PR Account Manager, you will lead client relationships, oversee campaign delivery, mentor junior team members, and provide strategic communications advice across a diverse portfolio of accounts.
The PR Account Manager will work closely with senior leadership, clients, journalists, and stakeholders to ensure campaigns achieve measurable results and support wider business objectives. This role combines strategic thinking, media relations, content development, and client management, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves as a trusted PR professional.
This position offers opportunities to attend client meetings, industry events, media engagements, and networking activities. Candidates should be comfortable with occasional travel throughout the UK and, from time to time, internationally to support client relationships, campaign delivery, and business development activities.

Location: London Bridge, London
Salary: £34,000 to £40,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Office based Monday to Thursday, working from home on Fridays
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts and acting as the primary day-to-day contact
- Developing and delivering strategic PR campaigns aligned with client objectives
- Providing proactive communications advice and strategic counsel to clients
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, media contacts, and industry influencers
- Creating high-quality press releases, articles, thought leadership content, and social media materials
- Securing media coverage across print, digital, broadcast, and trade publications
- Managing campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
- Analysing campaign performance and presenting insights and recommendations to clients
- Supporting new business opportunities and contributing to agency growth initiatives
- Mentoring and supporting Senior Account Executives, Account Executives, and junior team members
- Attending client meetings, industry events, media briefings, and networking opportunities as required
- Representing clients and the agency at events, conferences, and industry engagements
- Undertaking occasional UK and international travel to support client relationships and campaign delivery
Required Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience within a UK PR agency environment
- Strong experience managing client accounts and delivering successful PR campaigns
- Excellent understanding of the UK media landscape and media relations best practices
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skill
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
- Experience developing strategic communications plans and campaign recommendations
- Confidence presenting ideas, reports, and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of client objectives
- Experience using media monitoring, reporting, and project management tools
- Ability to mentor and support junior colleagues
- Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally to attend client meetings, events, conferences, and industry engagements
