Archetype Accelerate Summer Program Internship – London

Archetype UK is a passionate and diverse communications agency made up of over 90 Tech PR, content, digital and web development specialists. Together, we emphasise the impact our work has on the world.

About the Opportunity

At Archetype UK (London), we’re expanding our exclusive 2024 Accelerate summer program—targeted at those eager to learn and develop tech PR and marcomms skills.

Archetype Accelerate is a paid part-time 4-week internship for upcoming talent. Whether you're just graduating, completing your studies, or exploring a career pivot in B2B tech communication, this program offers invaluable growth.

During your time with us, you’ll develop, network, and upskill under our structured learning framework. This includes:

  • On-the-job learning
  • Practical skills development
  • Constructive feedback & mentorship
  • Industry insights from experienced trainers & mentors

You’ll gain access to industry tools, events, social experiences, and a deeper understanding of communications, content, digital, design, and media tactics. Your journey will unfold alongside other motivated interns, fostering collaboration and peer learning.

Daily Insights & Tasks (Examples)

As an intern, you’ll engage in a variety of meaningful activities, such as:

  • Monitoring media using Roxhill
  • Analysing key topics from news scans and sharing insights
  • Attending industry events: Observing discussions and relaying key takeaways back
  • Drafting correspondence with journalists
  • Writing press releases, media pitches, and supporting client outreach
  • Researching journalists, publications, and trending narratives
  • Assisting with event coordination: Updating agendas and diary management
  • Shadowing agency teams to learn their tools, workflows, and job functions

Program Details

  • Duration: 4 weeks
  • Schedule: 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • Location: On-site (Archetype UK, 60 Great Portland Street, Oxford Circus)
  • Start date: Mid-July &/or Mid-August — availability required

Eligibility
