Public Relations Intern

Public Relations Intern – Medtech & Dermatology (3-Month Internship)

About the Company

Jeskin is a British medtech startup specialising in a consumer-focused hardware + software solution for early skin cancer detection and instant online consultations with dermatologists.

The company’s mission is to reduce the average waiting time to see a skin doctor from months to days, improving both accessibility and diagnostic quality of skin health monitoring.

Jeskin thrives in a mission-driven environment, where team members contribute to impactful work—detecting skin issues earlier and connecting patients with expert care faster.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Jeskin’s CEO to help shape PR strategy, aligning messaging with broader brand goals.
  • Pitch journalists in health, tech, and consumer media to secure coverage for Jeskin’s solutions.
  • Conduct research to identify relevant media outlets, publications, and journalist contacts in:
    • Medtech
    • Dermatology
    • Consumer health
  • Assist in building and maintaining Jeskin’s media footprint, including media lists and press outreach.
  • Provide independent, high-quality outputs with little supervision.
  • Do your best—then go further. "If you can call yourself an A-player, we’ll get along!"

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
