Accelerate Summer Internship Program

At Archetype UK (London) we are running our annual Accelerate Summer Internship Program, aimed at people eager to learn and develop skills across B2B marcomms, media, PR, tech, AI, and more!

What is Archetype Accelerate?

Archetype Accelerate is a part-time 4-week paid internship program designed to help upcoming talent become more knowledgeable and skilled in tech PR. Whether you have just left college, currently studying, or simply looking to kick-start a career change; this could be for you.

What Will You Do?

During your time on the Accelerate program, you will develop, network, and upskill, using our learning framework. We will accelerate your knowledge and skills which include learning on the job, practical skills, personal development, constructive feedback, and industry insights from mentors and trainers.

Program Details

Duration: 4 weeks
Schedule: 3 days per week (Tues, Weds, Thurs)
Location: On-site (60 Great Portland Street, Oxford Circus)
Hours: 10am - 4.30pm
Start date: 1st cohort begins Mid-July, 2nd cohort begins Mid-Aug
This is an internal program only (no certifications)

Examples of Practical Comms Tasks

  • Monitoring media including news scans using Roxhill
  • Identifying key topics in the media & sharing findings
  • Attending industry events to observe, learn, and relay key insights back to the agency
  • Writing to journalists
  • Writing press releases and supporting media pitches for clients
  • Researching journalists and publications
  • Creating and updating meeting agendas and diary scheduling
  • Shadowing people from different functions to observe what they do and what tools they use

Minimum Requirements

  • 18 years or over
  • Right to work and live in the UK
  • Ability to come into the London office 3 days per week (Tues, Weds & Thurs)
