Kite Strategies is looking for a confident and highly organised Public Relations Officer to join our growing communications business.
Kite Strategies helps organisations build strategic visibility through compelling stories, targeted media distribution and access to regional and industry publications across the UK.
The role
You will support the planning, development and delivery of PR campaigns for a range of clients. The role will involve writing strong media content, identifying relevant story opportunities and helping campaigns reach the right publications and audiences.
Key responsibilities include:
- Writing press releases, articles, pitches and campaign materials
- Supporting the development and delivery of client PR campaigns
- Researching relevant media, industry and regional opportunities
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients and media contacts
- Coordinating campaign timelines, approvals and publication activity
- Monitoring coverage and preparing clear client reports
- Contributing ideas for stories, campaigns and new business opportunities
- Ensuring all work is accurate, professional and delivered on time

About you
You should be a clear and confident writer with a strong understanding of news, media and communications.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience in PR, communications, journalism or a related role
- Can write clear, engaging and accurate content
- Understands what makes a strong media story
- Is comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Communicates professionally with clients and colleagues
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is proactive, organised and willing to take ownership of their work
- Has a genuine interest in the UK media landscape
