Public Sector Account Director - London
Aim of the role:
The aim of the role is to initiate and develop relationships with new Public Sector Customers as well as proactively managing and upselling Redcentric’s product portfolio into the existing Public Sector Customer base to increase order value in line with the aims of the business within an allocated Territory
. Responsibilities will include but are not restricted to the followin
g: Developing new business relationships (either from leads generated personally or by the Marketing team): making follow up calls, conducting new business presentations, making Customer vis itsMaintaining and developing existing Customer relationships to ensure contracts are renewed and to proactively upsell into Customer b aseAttending “Service Review” meetings with existing Customers to improve relationships, communication and to facilitate an upsell/rene walActing as the escalation point for any Customer complaints or quer iesFacilitating and participating in business negotiations on behalf of Redcent ricLiaising with all appropriate contacts both internally and externally to ensure that negotiations/deals progress smoothly. Internal contacts include: Pre-Sales Solution Architects, Framework Manager, Bid Team, Marketing Team, Service Delivery Managers, Sales Support, Finance, Head of Public Sector Sales and Senior Management such as CEO, Group Sales Director. External contacts will vary with each d ealWorking to achieve both individual and team targets (agreed) within budgetary constrai ntsUpdating and maintaining the Company’s CRM system in line with the Sales proce ss.Producing monthly forecast reports and statistics, as requi redAdhering to the Company’s procedures and completing necessary documentat ionAdherence to Redcentric Solutions Limited ISO09001 and ISO27001 certification standar ds:Compliance with Redcentric’s policies and procedu resHandling and protection of Redcentric informat ionReporting of security eve ntsImplementing appropriate policies and procedu

res Who are we looking
for? The role requires an individual who is capable of quickly gaining sound product and company knowledge and further developing their already excellent and proven sales skills (from lead generation and new business presentations through to complex negotiati
ons). The ideal candidate will have a demonstrably outstanding track record in End User Customer sales, ideally gained within a managed data and voice services environment and will have experience of selling both directly to Public Sector End User Customers, in collaboration with Business/Ecosystem Partners such as Technology Vendors, ISVs, Consultants and Systems Integrators and via Crown Commercial Service Frameworks such as G-Cloud, Technology Services and Network Se

rvices In particular, the following Public Sector domain experience and skills are highly des irable:5 years+ Public Sector Sales track record, engaged at CIO, CTO and Senior Commercia l levelSpecific experience of Central Government (including Ministerial Departments and associated Arms’ Length Bodies) and Healthcare (Department of Health, Acute/Mental Health/Community Trusts, CSUs an d CCGs)Conversant with Cabinet Office Mandates and Government ICT AgendaSuccess selling Cloud and Hybrid Services, through behaviours such as agility, creativity, flexibility, pro-activity and respons ivenessUnderstanding of contemporary market factors, such as Hyperscale Public Cloud Providers (eg. Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure), Vendor Cloud Providers (eg. Oracle Managed Cloud Services and VMware vCloud Air) and the Crown Hosting
