Req ID: 10155392

Job Description:

About the Role & Team

Join the Studios UK Publicity team and help bring some of the world's most iconic entertainment to audiences across the UK. As a Publicist, you will support the delivery of imaginative and impactful publicity campaigns across theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios content. Working closely with Publicity Managers, cross-functional teams, and media partners, you'll play an important role in creating memorable campaigns, building strong industry relationships, and ensuring our stories connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in film publicity and communications, gaining exposure to award campaigns, talent-led activity, media relations, influencer engagement, and high-profile events. If selected for this role, you will report to the Publicity Manager. This role will be based in our London Hammersmith office, 4 days a week, with either a Monday or Friday working from home.

You'll join a team grounded in our Disney values — acting with Integrity, welcoming everyone through Inclusion, embracing boundless Creativity, working together through Collaboration, and caring deeply for our Community. These values shape how we work and how we support one another every day.

What You Will Do

  • Support the Publicity Managers in developing and delivering industry-leading publicity and communications campaigns across theatrical releases and Disney+ Studios branded content.
  • Help coordinate publicity activity across internal teams, media partners, and The Walt Disney Company's wider lines of business to ensure campaigns are integrated, impactful, and audience-focused.
  • Work closely with US publicity and awards teams to support screenings, set visits, awards campaigns, UK press activity, talent schedules, media logistics, guest management, and security processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including selected synergy partners across The Walt Disney Company.
  • Manage day-to-day communications planning, publicity calendars, and media contact databases.
  • Ensure publicity assets and materials are localised, accurate, up to date, and available through distribution platforms such as image.net and DMS.
  • Support media outreach, content rollouts, exclusives, and pitching opportunities across print, broadcast, online, and emerging media channels.
  • Act as a point of contact for media enquiries, responding efficiently and proactively to requests.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and changes across the media landscape, sharing insights that help shape campaign strategy.
  • Partner with Digital Marketing, Social Media, and Influencer teams to identify and engage priority influencers, supporting screenings, events, and content opportunities.
  • Support the planning and delivery of premieres, screenings, and publicity events, helping create exceptional experiences while driving meaningful media and influencer coverage.
  • Assist with the guidance and day-to-day support of Publicity Interns, helping foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
  • Produce campaign recaps and reports, evaluating publicity activity and communicating results to stakeholders.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
