**Creative Publicity Internship – Paramount Pictures UK
About the Role
Lights, camera, action! Paramount Pictures UK is recruiting a creative, driven intern to join their Publicity team for a full-time, 12-month paid placement at their Chiswick office. Step into your front-row seat for an unforgettable kickstart to a career in film.
Reporting to the Head of Publicity, this role will place you at the heart of how our films reach press and audiences across the UK.
Package and Structure
- London Living Wage: £96.95 per day (£25,207 per year), paid monthly
- Duration: 12-month full-time contract, starting end September 2026
Responsibilities
As the engine room of the Publicity team, your daily tasks will include:

Press Screenings
- Book and monitor FDA press screening dates, including Scottish National Press Show and mop-ups
- Arrange catering and security
- Host/check-in press guests at screenings (day and night, including Week of Release Screening)

Press Engagement
- Distribute titles/images via media management site
- Release press communications, including AUs and press notes
- Maintain the Forthcoming Slate
- Manage press invites and RSVPs

Media Junkets
- Manage check-in desks
- Compile talent folders and share schedules with DMS
- Organise travel and transport for journalists and talent (with occasional early starts/late finishes)

Operational Tracking & Support
- Maintain the publicity calendar and meeting minutes
- Update weekly competitive reviews
- Log reviews, reactions, and premier/theatre documents
- Act as key point of contact with FDA, liaising with journalists and critics

- Administrative Coordination
- Own PPUK mailing lists (managed via agency)
- Track PODs and BTA credit card spend
- Book meetings, facilities, and catering
Requirements

Education/Experience
- Recent school or university leaver with a degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or a related field
- Relevant experience from a corporate office or press/media assistant role

Skills
- Excellent spoken/written English (professional level)
- Time management and multitasking skills, balancing competing deadlines
- Calm under pressure, with a high attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills: coordinating, prioritising, and delegating
- Proactive approach and a talent for relationship management (internal & external)
- PC literacy and comfort working outside regular hours when required

- Initiative and self-motivation toward concrete outcomes
- Demonstrates integrity and honesty in professional dealings
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
- Age: Over 18 years old
- Nationality/Work Rights: Eligible to work full-time in the UK for the full 12-month period
- Access: Hold a UK bank account in your own name
- *Commitment: Available to complete the entire contract starting end September 2026
