The Role
We are seeking a purchase ledger assistant to join our finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a high-volume SME environment processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the wider finance function.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high volumes of supplier invoices and manage AP inbox
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Set up new suppliers on the finance system
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs and ad-hoc payments
- Post payments to finance system in a timely manner and match against invoices.
Requirements

- Previous accounts payable experience desirable
- Confident communicator
- Basic Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
- DB Capture experience would be beneficial.
