Purchase Ledger Assistant

The Purchase Ledger Assistant will play a key role in supporting the accounting and finance team by managing supplier invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail to thrive in a fast-paced environment within the technology and telecoms industry.

Description

  • Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the purchase ledger by reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
  • Prepare and process supplier payments, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes related to the purchase ledger.
  • Manage supplier queries and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.
  • Support the accounting team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Contribute to process improvements within the purchase ledger function.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary ranging from £26,000 to £30,000 per annum.
  • Working hours - Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pm (1-hour lunch) Friday: 8:30am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch).
  • 25 + bank holidays, 2 days given at the 2 and 5 year mark
